Spring on the Farm -
...a farm field trip focused on plants, animals, and agriculture in our state.

March 24th - May 28th (Wednesday - Friday only)

Field Trip Includes:
  • "All About Cotton" - lesson*
  • Animal Babies (sheep, goats, turkeys, rabbits, and The Chicken Coop)
  • Wagon Ride
  • 1800s Wooden Train Car - view and hear about the oldest passenger car on the East coast.
  • Planting Station - students will plant a seedling to take home
    (For older students - Advanced option available: Math and Design for Today's Farmer)
  • Giant Slide, Tree House, Rubber Duck Races, Nature Trail

* (The Field Trip lesson is correlated to State curriculum for plants, animals, and changes in agriculture since the 1800s.)
