Animals at Aw Shucks
A visit to the Animal Barn is included in every admission and continues to be one of our most popular areas on the farm.
 
Aw Shucks also has some very friendly sheep and goats and two rare turkeys.
Our male turkey was recently featured on 96.1, "The Beat" as the "turkey who would not eat turkey"!
For 2010 we have added the "Chicken Coop", home to dozens of hens and a few good roosters. There you will see the rare Araucanas - the Easter egg laying chickens that lay beautiful pastel colored eggs!
 
While at the Animal Barn, be sure to "milk the cow" and try your hand at lassos!
